Patrick Wayne - Funky Music (taster)
Oh Patrick…you tempt and tease us so with these great tastes of things to come. Anyone into funky jackin disco house will definitely keep their eyes out for whenever this one gets signed.

It’s been an endless argument since DJ software made its way into the booth, and I’m facing it head on. Despite my years of playing vinyl, you might be surprised at how I view sync functions. Read on and draw your own opinions.
This is certainly what it should be about, and it’s what im about regarding the Madonna issue.
Whether i like it or not, and like every other walk of life, whether you’re becoming an adult, or climbing up the corporate ladder, or blazing a path in your chosen profession, im in a position now…

No Mr. Louie…many of us do not give credibility to pop music because it was manufactured by marketing departments, and the performers often can’t even sing without auto-tune. We give love to pop music hits that came from the heart and show real creative talent. Not to mention many DJs would like to see the US catch up to Europe in being ‘cutting edge” with new sounds
Old School Friday presents “Breathe” by Telepopmusik
I love this song. Just the somber, relaxed tone of it. Funny enough I more relate it to moments when you’re on your way home from somewhere. I could be walking through downtown after work, heading towards the train, city around me, and this comes into my head.
Must have been the Mitsubishi Outback commercial when I first heard it.
Old School Friday presents “Days Go By” by Dirty Vegas
Some will argue that this isn’t “old school”, but I simply reply that “old school” is more based on who you ask. I’m sure a 28 year old right now who was 17 back in 2001 would remember this as his old school.
Most of us know this tune from the infamous Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial featuring Dusty Paik pop-locking in the car. I ran across the ad the other night and decided this week’s edition of Old School Friday would feature songs of that campaign.
I personally loved the tune because at the time it was different. We were given an onslaught of trance and trance-infused euro pop, but this just stood out. Even today it’s an anthem to many.
Homework - Rally Racquet Club (Alias Jonez & Oliver $ Dub)
I like the deepness of this tune. This is something for any opening DJ to have in their arsenal. Put it on when the first few people come into the club.
PW vs Lil Louis - Video Clash Retouch
I love when someone remixes an old tune and yet doesn’t drastically changes it PLUS makes it easier on the DJ.
